HTMLcode converts filenames to lowercase. This inhibits the reference of files with names containing uppercase characters, a feature that is definititelz needed in a Unix environment. In the following construct using the macro HTMLcode the uppercase ``MO'' is converted to lowercase in the filename MO.txt.However, the macro htmladdnormallink leaves the uppercase charqacters in the filename correctly as they are:
