(System Redhat 5.2 with it's default Perl (5.xxx32 something?) and L2h 98_2b8)
./install-test shows no errors
The old docs (without the new perl adapted styles) seem to compile reasonably
well with the 982b8 version.(which wouldn't work with 97 and 98.1, only with
96revh ). The only thing which goes wrong is caused by
fancyheadings not being loaded (no implementation for fancyheadings), though
fancyheadings.sty is in the right directories.
The newer docs have several problems, but are more sophisticated.
(syntax diagrams, a lot environments etc). The output is heavily mangled,
all pictures fail because pstoimg dumps core.
I'll put a tgz with those newer docs on my site this afternoon. (about 1 hour
