[l2h] \footnotemarks in latex2html 99.1

This is LaTeX2HTML Version 99.1 release (March 30, 1999)

We have problems with latex2html running into an endless loop with
stuff like
   \footnote{some text} more text
   \footnotemark[\value{footnote}]

I've seen this asked earlier in the archives, so maybe there is a
patch available already?
