Hi,
is there some kind of policy when to register products to launchpad? I
image some upstream projects, which are managed by cvs and have their
own bugzilla, but upstreams don't care about registering them into
launchpad. May I register that product even I'm not related to upstream
in any way?
I've seen some projects which are registered by canonical people. So I
assume it is okay to just go on and transfer ownership to the upstream
once they want to take over maintenance over the product entry in
launchpad. Whats the process if this case happens?
