I suppose then you could make the case that concatenate is "improperly"
transposed as well.

I have a paper and spreadsheet based malady - I think in columns, but LV
(at least initially) thinks in rows.  I suspect this is based on
familiarity with database structure (database records are rows) on the
part those who made software design choices for LV early on.  I always
assumed that or something inherent in digital number crunching that makes
rows function better.

Re: concatentate.  In my dreams I want concatenate to append columns to
the right of existing columns.  Not rows concatenated below existing
rows.

I am glad transpose array is not hoggish to use.  I certainly use it a
lot.
