Hello to all on the list..
I am a new member here and really enjoy reading all the news of the cases
and all that...I have never participated before but I found what happened to
me today good enough to share..

I had my house broken into 3 years ago now this March 2nd..The guys that
broke into my house didn't do allot of damage but went through my entire
house..They stole allot of what I call unimportant things...Cd's, remotes,
some jewelry ect...Stuff that didn't have sentimental value just dollar
value...I didn't have insurance at the time (okay I was young and foolish)
and I was never asked by the police to ever file a detailed account of what
was taken...When I talked to the officers after this it just seemed to me
that they were putting it down to a random break-in and that there was no
way they would ever solve it...I felt like I had been let down by the men in
blue who were sworn to serve and protect...
Well here it is 3 years and 23 days later and I receive a call from a local
police sergeant that
they have a young man in custody and he is going to trial soon and they now
need this list of what was taken so they can try for restitution for me....I
have renewed my faith in the police force and realize that even though I am
one of the little guys in the city here, they really do work at solving
these crimes.....

Thanks for listening....I am wearing a very big grin!!!

Kathy
