Hollinger was on my comittee and was a joy. My prelim orals were almost a
shouting match between him and one of the soc. profs. Great fun!!

Most of my undergrad professors were pretty boring -- I liked my Philosophy of
Man prof (ex-Jesuit, a rare thing on a Jesuit school faculty). Didn't take
any Philosophy in grad school -- all I really wanted out of my grad program
was me. The Kennedy fellowship came years later -- summer of 1979.
Hollinger? WHICH HOLLINGER?
