Do you know him too??  I went to a conference with him and we went to the night
session on postmodernism.  The conference and the presenters will never be the
same.  Remind me to tell you the story sometime. I was interviewing for a
position, and the interviewers were at the session.    The man, IMO, is
phenomenal, but not everyone shares my view.  And, no Ames was never marginal
when he was near : )
