HI Jackie,

It's hard to tell when dealing with the minds of 11 and 13 year olds. 
That's the problem with guns, IMO.  They give such an impersonal and
large degree of separation between killer and victim.  I could see where
this tragedy could start with teen age bravado and bragging with neither
kid thinking it would ever go to the stage it did.  But they played their
little game up to the point where they were in those woods and had pulled
the alarm to get the kids out there.  Squeezing the trigger the first
time must not have seemed such a big deal after everything else.  The
thing that amazed me was the apparent accuracy of the shooters.  Not many
shots missed.
