The above problem really sucks, IMHO. I assist a gyn - oncologist, and we
have to run around to five or six different hospitals and I think it really
interferes with patient care as one OR team is unable to get accustomed to
your routines and it leads to re-inventing the wheel every time you do a
case in a new OR, not to mention the hassle of rounding on very sick
patients in three different ICU's.
