Here the same code (written in C#) can run as well on the server as on the Client (i.e. in the browser). It's up to the user where he places each single function.

To me this sounded like a great idea and I felt that the basic design was very well thought out and promising.

But obviously the public interest shifting from PCs to mobile devices made Java the winner over C# and finally Microsoft dropped Silverlight.
