+1 Another solution could be to make some sort of installable package from the GTK1 support. I have to admit that I don't know if that is technically possible. A third option would be to have a special release of lazarus and fpc that can be used for compiling using lcl-gtk1 that is downloadable and installable seperately. This "GTK+ Edition" of lazarus/fpc could be used to keep up care and necessary bug fixing for those programs in the future. Solution two and three would take more effort to be realized than only marking gtk1 as deprecated but still usable (on ones own risk ;). I am still using gtk1 and will continue to do so for some applications that are running on older and thus slower hardware. -- Marc Santhoff <[email protected]> -- _______________________________________________ Lazarus mailing list [email protected] http://lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/lazarus
