I'd usually expect embedded vendors to build packages specifically targeted for their processor, as there are many ARM configurations, and Debian only targets the ARMv4T architecture with no hardfloat, which wouldn't make much sense to run on more modern processors. But this specific board does have an ARM920T, so maybe they just connect to the Debian repositories.
