Well yes I did. :-)
In this case however it made a big difference for the code clarity.
Please look at r35469.
I may use them also in future but only when the benefits outweight the
memory and performance penalties that were discussed earlier.
I already looked at your changes before writing the mail. I just wanted
to tease you a little bit :)
I still believe someone (you maybe) will optimize generics in FPC in
future and the issue mostly goes away.
