When we can start implementing further changes, we should look whether Delphi exists at all, at that time. I wouldn't hold my breath ;-)
Regarding the changes they are tying to force to their customers (yet another string paradigm, Firemonkey), instead of trying to offer an as smooth migration path as possible, and not even trying to support Linux and Android (that now has a lot greater market share than IOS) obviously recommends a decent look at Lazarus.
