Where? I only see windows MBCSSUPPORT.

RTL is not yet complete in lazarus synedit, so chinese will not work in the
right direction.
Also I'm not sure about the gtk1 chinese support. Did you try with gtk2?

True. We tried to mark all changes with IFDEF SYN_LAZARUS. There are nearly
800.
