Well, I fact I only meant the display. The actual beta doesn't display chinese
characters.
I haven't looked or tried with gtk1/2 as I first want to know what is there.
BTW do you really think RTL is good/usefull in a source code editor?

So more generally: 1.) Is somebody actively working on Unicode support for
SynEdit?
2.) Is somebody trying to merge actual releases of SynEdit?
Just to avoid double or conflicting work.
