Today i commited the patch below to the KDE repository. This means for LFS translators: With upcoming versions of KDE (>= 3.5.3) you can use the KDE i18n tools po2xml and xml2pot (from package kdesdk) again for translating the book. This was nearly impossible in the past because those tools extracted complete chapters and appendixes into a single, huge msgid.
