I'm reading again this:

if you wnat to work simple then glscene is good for you but it has a little
bit of overhead
if you want to have to get all the power from opengl then write all the
stuff yourself
and have 10x code size
so: for big projects you better use glscene
for small projects that asume mutch power from the graphic card like demos
you better use c and opengl directly
its like the stuff with all other
if you want to spend some time with your famely and dont want to hunt a lot
of stack errors use pascal
if you want to develop the hole night along and want to get the last bit of
cpu time and memory out of your
i386 use c ...
 
Then, would be a good idea the use of GlScene instead SDL+Opengl directly for example. Oh, I'm confused lol.
