Upgrading from 10.0 to 10.1 diddn't always give you a fine system.
That's what i read on the suse linux newslists.
Another thing was, that the new novell-zmd was badly broken.
Now that it is updated most people reported that the problems went away.
I didn't wait for the update for zmd.
Instead i used the smart package manager. This is working much better,
so i still use it.

I think if you install smart from the guru repository, you will get a
channel-list with it.
