Check: - download fpc-2.0.4.i386-linux.tar - unpack the file - run on terminal: sudo sh install.sh The last step should install the /etc/fpc.cfg. By the way: There are packages for ubuntu for fpc. Look for 'debian' on the fpc download site. Or download them here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=89339&package_id=204004&release_id=447674 You need almost all of them.
