How about this Vincent? http://www.mattkruse.com/javascript/mktree/documentation.html

Do you think you would like to use a tree to sort out everything? The nice thing about it is that you customize the use through a css (which we could change to the css used by the fpc site). And the page is static so it should work everywhere, although there is a problem for browsers that do not support javascript (are there any widely in use?). If you want I can make you a sample page. Can you tell me how you would like the levels to be realized?

1. native OS
2. native architecture
3. target OS
4. target architecture
5. mirror
6. stable / unstable

Hi Vinvent,

what do you thing by generating the HTML-Page on the fly with PHP based
on a directory-structure.
The PHP-Script can then generate a List with the design you like and the
ability to have collapsing and opening the subdirectories.

I think that is of lesser importance. I'd rather have a good look and feel and that people can find the right downloads quickly. At this moment I am not look at ways to generate the page. A static html page is preferred, because I don't know if all mirrors support php.

The challenge is *not* the generation of the page. The challenge and where I need help is the design of the page.
- How should it look?
- What colors and fonts shoould be used?
- What layout should be used?
- What is the contents of the css files?

But I have a question, too:
How do you crosscompile these Versions of Lazarus ?
I could only compile for Linux-x86-x64 and win32.

I don't cross compile. All these snapshots are compiled natively.

Do you have and tipps for me ? I would like have to have a simple
solution to compile my projects on every Plattform fpc and Lazarus
offers automatically.

For lazarus on windows there are some experimental cross compilers at ftp://ftp.hu.freepascal.org/pub/lazarus/cross
