Perhaps this is related to this topic. Since some weeks programs compiled with
SVN version don't show special characters when they are read from
ressourcestrings. i.e. menuitem captions containing german letters like ÄÖÜ
only show '?'.
This has been working for sure with SVN a month ago... Broken since around
begin/mid of august...
