Thanks again Gerhard, I think I need to update ghostscript. The problem is some of clients vector graphics are very large and it takes time to rasterise into bitmap images. ghostscript is lying beneath ImageMagick at the moment. It is very slow.
The jpegicc utility program is very fast since it is written in C. I agree it is not doing color management in my case. But it is achieving the result. That means I have two choices at this stage.
