I think now I got it, what you actually wanted to say. If a perceptual
intent transform is requested from a CMM in conjunction with a
matrix/shaper profile, then the CMM could perform relcol+BPC.

Yes, I fully agree, this is pretty reasonable, since this will at least do
lightness mapping.
