sony artisan monitors have unsupported calibration software for linux. I believe 7.1 and 7.3 redhat will work.
unfortunately they have stopped developing for linux and their entire consumer (non-broadcasting) CRT monitors will be phased out by LED backlit LCD monitors in the near future.

Another group for linux monitor calibration is sequel imaging. http://www.sequelimaging.com
They are part of gretagmacbeth but do interesting work for other companies. One of the most interesting thing about them is that they supply most of the colorimeters in the monitor calibration industry. Most likely they will be developing softwares for the CRT monitors and support future versions of linux.
