Hi, In general, you cannot do that because the transform should describe all colors, and the image may miss some. You can, however, use images with added patches sampling all color space, and then build a color map with the transform. I think Kodak has some patents on this method. ICC way does not use that but instead a device independent color space (Lab or XYZ).
