I would recommend converting everything to 8 bit sRGB and sending that to 
the printer as either tiff or high quality jpeg, whichever is convenient, 
with the sRGB profile embedded.

There are fewer mistakes to be made when using an sRGB file, and the gamut 
size is more than adequate for printing photographs.
