Hmm. Which encodings, there are lots. There's ICC original 16 bit,
ICC V4 16 bit, ICC 8 bit, and CIE encodings, and then there are
FAX encodings. Then there are the differences in white point
(ie. D50, D65). Which does your document refer to ?
