I use lots of multi-profile-transforms and I discovered a bug in a special
configuration in which BlackPreservation and BlackPointCompensation is
involved.
Try this, for example (the connection is without deep meaning its just
for showing the bug)
CMYK->CMYK, 8 Bit samples, Profilcount=4, HiresPrecalc=true,
RI=relativeIntent
ISOCoated->ISOcoatedISOnewspaper26v4.icc>ISOnewspaper26v4.icc->ISOcoated.icc
If you turn off BlackPreservation, all is fine.
If you turn on BlackPreservation AND BlackPointCompensation, its all fine.
If you turn on BlackPreservation BUT BlackPointCompensation off, it crashes
with following error:
Assertion failed: (Curve != ((void *)0)), file
c:\mms\pps_6_0_develop\lib\mmsicc
\littlecms\src\cmsgamma.c, line 1058
This error occurs ONLY, if you use the ISOnewspaper26v4 in the middle. If
you use other CMYK Profiles, its ok as far as Ive tested. But since I need
newspaper in the middle and its sort of standard-profile, its
(hopefully) worth to be examined.
Has anybody an idea about that?
I use the latest git version dated 12-april-2011
Chris
