Dear all, I have a running LDAP 2.3.19. I use egroupware addressbook to store address in LDAP server. LDAP didnot save any entry initially. then I have created an example.ldif file like below
dn:dc=linux,dc=edu objectclass:dcObject objectclass:organization o:IT Company dc:linux dn:cn=manager,dc=linux,dc=edu objectclass:organizationalRole cn:manager ---------------------------------------------------------------- and add this by ldapadd. after doing this LDAP allows to enter information. when I enter some information using egroupware addressbook by the name andi I can seen from phpldapadmin that the entry is look as uid=11652326308698:Andi OK, now come to KMail. I have no problem to access the ldap server and see the entry created by egroupware addressbook. Even I have no problem to delete the entries. The problem I am facing when I create an entry from Kmail addressbook. Suppose I create an entry called Joydeep. Now the phpldapadmin shows this entry as cn=Joydeep and I can't see this entry ( with cn) from egroupware.
