See the reply from James Andrewartha <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, I'd forgotten that particular "feature" of Solaris. Yet another reason I avoid it. In any case, I'd always go with 64-bit for LDAP.


        Just to follow up on this, over the thanksgiving break we were able
        to upgrade the LDAP servers to 64bit. The problem has gone away.
