Are there attribute options use guidelines? Should they be avoided? Are they preferred over creating more attributes?
Or does it simply depend on use of the attributes and how the applications can/will/will not deal with them? Example case (this is just an example) UserRole: Student UserRole;internal: Part Time Employee Or would it be better to... UserRolePrimary: Student UserRoleInternal: Part Time Employee (where the primary role is a student, but, internally they are also an PT Employee) (I am working on joining the UM LDAP list also as I realize this is more of a generic LDAP question and OpenLDAP seems to handle them fine -- assuming there are no OpenLDAP specific gotcha) Thanks benji --- Benji Spencer System Administrator Ph: 312-329-2288
