Hi Sean,

Can you mention what is the exact error ( NFSV3 ) are you getting. There 
is a reference below is, if you are facing the same problem.

which talks the solution to the problem as below...

/1. Remove "set nfssrv:nfs_portmon=1" parameter from /etc/system

2. Add the line "rpcbind: all" in /etc/hosts.allow file

Also make sure the NFS 4 version is disabled on the System Controller 
running
Solaris 10. Disabling NFS 4 version can be done by setting the
NFS_SERVER_VERSMAX=3 in /etc/default/nfs file. /
