Hi

I haven't had the time to test this but creating a "raw device" on zfs  
should work unless the vdisk require the "disk" to be a physical unit  
that shows up in format.

Just take the remaining space on your bootdisk and create a zpool on it.

  # zpool create ldoms cxtxdxp0
            (according to your disks or cxtxdxp2 if a partition)


# zfs create -V 10G ldoms/ldom1
             (or you can use other name)

This device will then be /dev/zvol/dsk/ldoms/ldom1
