New question:

I've always understood that you can reboot a control LDom without impacting the
client LDoms (other than having them lose their vdisk access temporarily, of
course).

Tonight I rebooted a Solaris 10 9/10 control LDom with 4 client LDoms; one (the
one I was working on) was halted and the LDom stopped, so it didn't count.

One of the others was also running Solaris 10 9/10; the remaining 2 run Solaris
10 10/08.

The one LDom running 9/10 came through unscathed but the 2 LDoms running 10/08
spat out several of these messages:

ldc: [ID 282209 kern.warning] WARNING:i_ldc_rx_process_hvq: (0x19) cannot read
queue ptrs, rv=0x6

I went back through the list archives and found a previous thread where these
were mentioned, but it was stated that is must be due to the control exporting
a vdisk to more than one client. I'm definitely not doing this.

I'm assuming these are harmless and can be cured by a reboot of the client LDom?

Thanks,

        - Greg
