Labeling someone a "woman-hater" is easier than addressing a difficult
issue.

FOR THE RECORD:

This so-called "list", as you put it, is nothing more than an
unauthorized, underground venue to undermine security and church policy
with regard to the manipulation of sensitive data on the MLS church
system.

I do not want my name associated with this "list".

Good bye.

P.S.
Spencer W Kimball said that fathers preside in the family, not as a
matter of being the most qualified or the most worthy, but according to
divine law and appointment.

As a father, presiding in the home, it is not "misogynistic" to protect
and safe-guard not only my children, but also my wife from spiritual
ruin. It is not a matter of trust, or will power. It is a matter of duty
and responsibility.

The brethren have counseled us to place our home computers in a common
area. Why? To monitor activity on the computer! It is in that spirit
that I use spyware to monitor all computer activity. It is not
unrighteous dominion.

The spyware incidentally, is also good when the computer crashes and you
want to see exactly what went wrong. Please don't take a cheap-shot at
me and say that this is some kind of advertisement!

As Satan targets the family, do you think he could focus in on your
wife? Remember the Garden of Eden.

Once again, good bye, this is my last post!

With all due respect, I believe this to be an inaccurate, misogynystic
viewpoint that is far removed from the purposes of this list. Most of
the time I wouldn't bother to reply, but I think it is good for people
who browse this archive to know that not everyone agreed with it.
Nothing personal!

===========================================
Thank you for the feedback. My comments were not meant as an
advertisement nor a testimonial.

I was the best-man at my friend's wedding reception.
He was married in
the temple. He told me about his wife leaving him for an online
romance, when I saw his mother's obituary, and went to the viewing. He
said that it was easier to lose his mother than his wife, and that once
she started chatting online with another man, there was nothing he could
do. Her communication with and interest in another man, caused her to be
emotionally unavailable to him.

In a Deseret News story on manipulation of women, Friday, August 12,
2005, we are reminded that many women were attracted to Ted Bundy, who
confessed to killing over 30 women. Here is a quote from the article:

"As details emerged during his trial of how he preyed on young women, he
received a flood of love letters and female fans flocked to the
courtroom. During a second trial, he married one of the admirers, Carole
Ann Boone, who bore their child but divorced him before his execution in
1989."

Not too long ago, a woman, Jennifer Hyatte, shot and killed a prison
guard and helped her new husband escape from prison.
This shocked
everyone who knew her. She was from Utah.

The article talks about sociopaths that spot women who are relatively
shy and somewhat introverted.

In my opinion, women think differently than men, and the bottom line is
not a trust issue, but a basic thinking and feeling situation peculiar
to being a woman. Their strengths really can be their weakness.

Will spyware correct the problem? No.

Can it help to stop a problem? I think it might.

You tell me how women think. I don't know.
