I hate to modify the output to fit a particular application's needs, but perhaps palmos is large enough to justify. The "Churchwide Event" text comes from a table supporting localization. I don't think there is anything but English in there now - so we could easily eliminate that lookup and use our own text: "churchwide", "stake", "ward". If we do this I'd suggest only doing it for the vCal export - I think it makes sense not to do things that might break localization when it gets implemented. I'm not sure how to handle the category pre-existence problem. Suggestions? Perhaps instructions telling people to first create the three categories prior to import? People using unix could: egrep -v "^CATEGORIES:" export.vcs >new.vcs, Or we could eliminate the categories from the export. The category text could be appended to the start of the description or summary. Looking for suggestions, votes, comments, anything... pete _______________________________________________ Ldsoss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ldsoss.org/mailman/listinfo/ldsoss
