Related to the thread on the flexibility/features of email broadcasts, I'd
really like to be able to modify the text of the 'New calendar item for
stake/ward website' emails. They are rather terse and fairly vague. (More
than one person has asked 'which web site' in response to the canned message
of 'please see the Web site'.)
What's worse is that these emails come out under my name. So everyone
thinks I write like this. :)
Suggestions:
- Make the email text customizable
- Add a link back to the event in question
- Alter the email 'From' to be a system administrator name, or something
like 'Palo Alto 2nd Ward Web Admin'.
So I'd happily add those to the list of email enhancements if someone is
making a compilation.
