Any plans to enable online access to what Bill is calling public and private information? (A Bishop logs on and has access to confidential membership info that a general member does not?)

Assuming that the membership information available online doesn't change (i.e. no birthdays, callings, HT/VT, MRN, Temple, etc.), here's how I might construct a simple vCard per HOUSEHOLD:

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:2.1
N:Doe;John & Jane;;;
FN:John & Jane Doe
ORG:Ward Name Here;
EMAIL;INTERNET;HOME:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
EMAIL;INTERNET;HOME:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
TEL;HOME:123-456-7890
TEL;CELL:123-890-4567
ADR;HOME:;;123 Our St;Wherever;CA;12345;
NOTE:Doe Child #1=0D=0A [EMAIL PROTECTED] Child #2=0D=0A [EMAIL PROTECTED]
PHOTO;BASE64: (photo here)
END:VCARD

I believe everything is v2.1 compliant here except the PHOTO, which is ignored by most apps that don't yet support v3.0, and read by those that do.

It's our experience that most ward members aren't interested in dumping the entire ward directory into their desktop address book, handheld or phone. It's usually just the Ward Leaders that are. For that reason, it was easy to justify making it contain even more helpful information, private to only ward leaders.

my 2 bits,

-Greg
