Just make sure that you stay with GPL 2 and not go with GPL 3 (once it's released). The GPL 3 draft contains language about retroactively changing the license agreement (v3) without notifying your existing users (of v3). That's a huge concern for any corporate users and legal departments -- even those who wholeheartedly embrace OSS, Linux, etc. I work for one of the National Laboratories and asked our legal council what their legal opinion was. I was told that we would not be allowed to use anything put out under GPL 3 (in its current form) -- to avoid potential litigation.

All the demographic information comes through from MLS, but I had to upload all the pictures for the picture directory. I wrote a PHP script that can upload all the pictures automatically. It logs into the administrator's account, gets the form data for every member, then submits each photo one by one. What's the procedure for submitting this code to LDSOSS? I would release it under the GPL or some other open license. Should I keep the code on my site and link to it, or on ldsoss.org? Any other concerns? Richard --- Richard K.
