Ah, I haven't been keeping abreast of their latest news. I'm glad they
decided to do this, it makes more sense with all the free development
environments out there.

I love to program in .NET however I noticed in the past that people on
this
list don't seem to friendly towards MS or .NET programming so I have
refrained from mentioning much about it.
The problem is that .NET doesn't really have any (perceived) decent
support on non-Windows platforms. I really like the concept, but I
don't have any decent libraries I can play with. Especially in my
chosen language (perl). I don't think it's animosity so much as
uninterested.
