My bad....sorry...forgot to look in the apt or CNR pools for the package.  Works perfectly.

The fortune package displays epigrams selected randomly from a selection

The data files (which can be shared) are contained in the 'fortunes-min',

The debian package needs a "fortunes-mod" package but I don't see it
there. Can you post and I'll give it a try on Linspire?

Hi all,

I've got some Debian and Gentoo packages ready for testing if anyone
wants to give them a whirl. They shouldn't have much installation
issues since they really don't do more than dump a few files into your
Fortune directory, but if anyone wants to try them out and report any
problems, that would be great.

I can't take any credit for the Debian package, Charles Fry built them
for me. Thanks man. :) You can download those here:

http://mdp.nephi.org/download/debian/

The Gentoo ebuilds are available here:

http://mdp.nephi.org/download/gentoo/

For the Gentoo one, just download the gzipped overlay, and unpack it
in your PORTDIR_OVERLAY directory (/etc/portage for example), and then
just emerge fortune-mod-scriptures or fortune-mod-mormon.

Anyway, let me know if you guys hit any snags. Thanks. :)

Steve
