Thanks Dave. I had wondered if MLS did automatic backups, but haven't
had the time to research that yet. Good to know.
It's a possibility that the non-graceful stop is the problem in this
case -- they have reported connection problems (local, not with the
church servers) in the past.

believe that on a send/receive that MLS performs a backup, so it probably has a
recent one that you can restore. That worked in my case, but call into the help
desk.
I think my problem arose when I tried to stop a send/receive non-gracefully.
