Kudos, the Pedigree Viewer is a
pretty cool tool. The performance is pretty good on my mid-range laptop: WinXP 64-bit 2GHz AMD Athlon 64 512MB DDR SDRAM 400MHz; Nvidia GeForce4 440Go 64MB; I do have 2 comments: 1)
it
would be nice to have scrolling occur when your mouse approached the edge of
the viewspace, rather than just by clicking and dragging 2)
when
you zoom out to the point where you can see the 12-generations, it would be
nice if the pop-up detail box did not also scale smaller. Perhaps, a
dockable status box or something could be used for viewing. 3)
Is
the viewer intended to be a downloadable component or just for web viewing? Thanks,

smart pedigree viewer we've been working on. Many people expressed an interest
in playing with the viewer using their own data and I thought this group would
be interested. We've just made a new website available (FamilySearch Labs) to
showcase interesting new technology we're working on. The first project on the
site is our smart pedigree viewer. It allows you to upload your own GEDCOM and
