Although this method hardly qualifies as "ubiquitous", it is a nice addition
to the range of ways one can use LRP. Would you be interested in writing a
HowTo for it? If you are, I'd suggest one that describes the steps you
actually follow (including whichever LRP image you use), noting what parts
are specific to the LRP image or the NIC, what parts likely to be standard
across NICs.
It could serve as a prototype for replacing the crude "What media can LEAF
boot from?" bit of documentation I wrote (with liberal cribbing from the LRP
mailing list) last summer with a series of "How Do I Boot LEAF from [Name of
Media]" FAQ answers. (See http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=13751 for
the FAQ answer I am referring to, in section 11.)
