Well, it's been an interesting weekend -- Northpoint is down more than
up, and it turns out the mystery unmarked modem from my box-o-crap is a
14.4K.

Has anyone tried dyndns.org? I hesitate to shift monkeynoodle.org but
this would be a necessary part of any dial-backup.

I also need to scare up a proxy if we're going to be spending any real
time on a 14.4K modem :-)

So, I'll probably be less active on the lists for the next few days, or
maybe even subscribing from my work address or a webmail.
