Not much more work, and I'm blessed with an efficient processor. =)
However, just removing ipfwadm doesn't change the kernel size at all,
unfortunately. Removing both ipchains and ipfwadm still doesn't change
anything. Wierd.

That's much more like it. Somehow, the PCI Device Name Database snuck BACK
IN to the config, and it was throwing everything off. =) The above is with
IPTables/IPChains support added.
I'm going to work on this a bit, and will get back to everyone as soon as
I can get this at least down to the size it was.
