Steven and Jack,
I have Exceed and all I do is use the "Exceed (XDMCP-Broadcast)" icon. It
finds my debian box, and everything just works. I think I had to change a
couple of settings though. I have to install it on a laptop this weekend,
so I'll document the setup. If you're going to use Exceed make sure you
have a 100mb ethernet switch. Also, most of X's processing happens on the
server, so make sure you have something that can handle the load.
