I'm currently responsible for about 250M of the data, which is the current
size of my website. I can fairly easily remove some of the kernel
directories for a savings of about 50M (remove 2.2.13 & 2.2.15) to 100M
(remove 2.2.16 as well). Removing the kernel directories entirely and
placing just the tarballs in the release area would save about 200 Meg, at
the expense of not being able to download/browse individual modules/kernels
from the SF mirror of my site. Most of the remaining 50 Meg is consumed by
various disk images and lrp packages. Many of these could migrate to the
file releases area (and perhaps should), but if they disappear from my
web-directory to save space, the download links on my site will break.
Let me know if you'd like me to clean up my kernels directory, and how
'thorough' I should be.
